Game On! will be a fun 2 night online competition between chorus teams of 3-5 players. Games will be similar to TV game shows through the years. There will be 24 teams (one from each chorus + CAL). They will be matched up by random draw in a single elimination tournament bracket. Game On! will be hosted by the Region 19 webcaster team so there is sure to be crazy antics and fun for all.

If I'm on my chorus team, how will I access the games?
Teams will meet up in a Zoom meeting to play the games live. We will provide links in advance.
How should choruses choose their teams?
There is only one recommendation for how to choose your team. All team members should have good internet connections since they will be playing live via Zoom. Otherwise, choose your team members however you want. Pick names out of a hat. Hold your own mini games in advance to see who rises to the top in your chorus. Pick people with red hair. It doesn't matter. You will not know what game you are playing until the night of the event so no need to try to stack your team with the right skills. Whatever you do, just have fun.
Is there a way Quartets can participate?
Yes! Quartets may submit short video quips that will be aired during rounds 2 and 3 on May 15. Rose Hershey is chair for this activity. You will be given a random prompt and all quarter members will answer in a lightning round. If you haven't heard from her yet, reach out at dnclver350@gmail.com. Click back here after March 1 for a link to your random question generator.
What do choruses need to do in advance?
There are 2 things choruses need to do to prepare. Select your team members and create a short video that will air before your first round game.
What are the requirements for the chorus videos?
There is only one firm requirement. Videos can be absolutely no longer than 90 seconds. Closer to 60 seconds is preferred.
Suggestions for your video content include: A promotional video about your chorus or your hometown. Maybe something you could use in the future for membership drives or PR. It could be a virtual choir singing a parody about your team or the game or your chorus in general. It could be individuals wishing your team well in the competition. It doesn't matter what you choose. Just have fun creating it.
