Singers' School this year is all about each and everyone of you!
We have made this a one day event to keep the cost down for you while bringing in International level education. The classes will encompass everything you need to be a better singer and performer in the new year--you can have it all! PVI and quartet coaching slots will be available on a first come first serve basis so sign up early. The day will wrap up with a singing session allowing you to put your new skills into immediate practice with "Come on and Sing", "It's the "Music that Brings Us Together", and "How We Sang Today" (all available on the Members Only page).
This is singer focused for everyone not just quartets so come and be a better you in the New Year!

In an effort to keep costs low this is a one day event with no planned overnights. If you want to come early you can book a room at the Concord Doubletree on your own here. Currently king rooms are $159.

Kim has been a member of the International Faculty since 2013. Kim is Master Director of Metro Nashville Chorus and has been directing them since 1988. Metro Nashville Chorus has competed in the Harmony Classic Chorus Competition five times, 2001, 2002, 2006, 2008 & 2011. In 2006 they were named the International Division A Chorus Champions and won the International AA Chorus Championship in 2008 & 2011. Metro Nashville Chorus has competed in the International Chorus Semi-Finals seven times. They have appeared in the International Chorus Finals three times, placing 7th in 2014, 9th in 2018, 7th in 2022, and 15th in 2024. They have won the International Harmony Achievement Award 5 consecutive times, 2013, 2015, 2017, 2019 & 2023.

Kim is a retired high school choral director of 31 years. She was the Music Department Chair and taught International Baccalaureate Music (IB) at Hunters Lane High School in Nashville. Kim is a member of the Regional Faculty and currently the Education Coordinator of Region 4. She was selected to receive the 2005 Sweet Adelines, International MENC (Now NAfME, National Association for Music Educators) Award. She has served on the faculty for Harmony University with the Barbershop Harmony Society 2016, 2017, 2019 & 2022. She is a highly sought after educator and coach worldwide.
PERSONAL ENRICHMENT OPPORTUNITIES
PVI's (Personal Voice Instruction) and Quartet Coaching are available on a limited first-come, first serve basis, and all sign ups must be done in advance (i.e., no onsite sign ups will be available). Sign up now, and you'll be notified if/when the opportunity is available. All quartet members must be registered for Singers' School before the January 9 deadline in order to receive coaching. Participants may only sign up for a PVI or a Quartet Coaching -- not both.
Fees - payment will be made at Singers' School:
PVI $10 for 30 minute session
Quartet Coaching $30 for 60 minute session

- PVI's: $10.00 (payable upon confirmation of session)
- QUARTET COACHING: $30.00 (all quartet members must be registered for Singers' School -- payable upon confirmation of session)
- Onsite Registration available -- add $10 to the above registration fees.
- There will not be onsite sign ups for PVI's or Quartet Coaching sessions.
- Please note: registrations are not refundable. The Region will not facilitate any transfers of registrations.
