Lori Crouter
Quartet Contest Co-Host

Picture
Lori (Crouter) has been singing in Sweet Adelines for 22 years.  Although she joined member of Harbor City Music Company as a baritone, she quickly found her home singing lead. Lori has found great fun in working with her chorus in many capacities - participating in the music, creative, visual, and performance teams. She also is a part of the Regional Faculty.
Lori has been in two quartets through the years with her most current, Lustre, achieving their ultimate goal - 2018 International Queens of Harmony. Now they move on to new adventures with the quartet performing, coaching, & teaching. Lori is so proud to be a part of this singing organization/sisterhood/family!
When she's not singing (wait, there are times she doesn't sing?!?) you'll find her
working for an oral surgeon's office taking care of the patients, telling bad dad jokes, or spending quality time with her twp adorable cats (ask her to see their pics - she has MANY!).

Lori Dreyer
Quartet Contest Co-Host

Picture
Lori (Dreyer) is a 33-year member of Sweet Adelines, usually singing baritone, but when needed, will pitch in on lead or bass.  Never, ever, ever ask her to sing tenor.  She will want to help you out, but it isn't gonna be pretty.
As a member of Harbor City Music Company her entire Sweet Adelines career she has been a part of the membership, music, costume, creative and visual performance committees. Lustre is her third (and obviously most long-lived) quartet experience, and she has loved all that she has gotten to learn, and, in turn, share, as part of Lustre and HCMC.
For the last few years, Lori has loved being on the regional faculty, where she has gotten to meet many others who share her love of the barbershop artform.
Lori is a retired software engineer and makes her home in Baltimore, Maryland, with fur-baby, BB.

Maggie Ryan
Chorus Contest Co-Host

Picture
Maggie is a 31-year member who sings bass with the Greater Harrisburg Chorus.
Over the years, she has fulfilled a number of chorus roles, from PR chair to president and almost every job in between. She was a dual member with Pride of Baltimore Chorus, sang in a couple of medalist quartets and has emceed at regional and international contests.
Maggie has co-hosted Sweet Adelines International webcasts in Louisville, Houston, Denver, Hawaii and Baltimore, where she anchored the chorus contest coverage and shared the mic with Sarah Nainan-Newhard for the Harmony Classic.
She has been a correspondent for The Pitch Pipe magazine, served on the International Editorial Review Board, and was chair of the International Membership Committee.
Maggie is delighted to list co-hosting the Region 19 webcast alongside her impressive array onstage roles including cow poke, bridesmaid, the Big Kahuna, a singing nun, a Frankenburg monster and a Christmas tree.

Sarah Nainan-Newhard
Chorus Contest Co-Host

Picture
Sarah is proud to celebrate her 33rd year as a Sweet Adelines. Sarah sings bass with Region 19's Dundalk chapter. She's most proud of her first-place quartet medals with Sound Design and The Fource quartets, as well as her three second-place international chorus medals (with Pride of Baltimore under Janet Ashford).
In addition, Sarah has served as chapter president, vice-president, treasurer and music team and visual chairs. But it doesn't stop there: she's served as Communications, Education and Team Coordinators on Region 19's Regional Management Team. She also serves on the Regional Faculty, the Regional Education Team, the Regional Convention Steering Committee, and manages the Region's website.
Sarah is known for bringing her fun and sense of humor to the stage as emcee at both the chapter and regional levels. In 2014 she was invited to serve as webcaster (alongside Maggie Ryan) at the Harmony Classic competition at Sweet Adelines' International Convention in Baltimore.
In real life, Sarah is happily retired, sings tenor with and is the President of The Frederick Chorale, lives with her three dogs, and spends a lot of time vacuuming.
